The Cooper Institute(CI), a 501(c)(3)research and education nonprofit in Dallas, Texas, is releasing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to procure an eLearning platform solution. CI learners include health and fitness professionals, public safety and military fitness leaders, research and clinical program participants, and the general public. CI currently offers training to approximately 6,000 individuals annually via instructor-led, DVD, and print formats. In order to remain competitive and produce on-going revenue in support of CI�s scientific research, a move towards an online/eLearning environment is necessary. Course registration and eCommerce capability will originate within the CI-E web portal and must integrate with the eLearning solution.

The RFP Database : The Future of Learning: ICT in Schools

The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and Stanford University are pleased to announce a new Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in K-12 education initiative called WGLN III. The goal of this initiative is to promote collaborations between K-12 schools and academic units in Sweden on the one hand and Stanford University and K-12 schools in the United States on the other, to implement and evaluate ICT solutions for specific K-12 educational challenges.

The RFP Database : UMass Nanotechnology Summer Institute

The UMass Nanotechnology Summer Institute will explore the basic science and engineering concepts of this exciting new field, and will illustrate how they may be integrated into the usual math, science and technology courses in middle schools and high schools. The content and pedagogy will be aligned with the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Framework.
