The RFP Database : PULASKI PARK SCHEMATIC DESIGN

The Northampton Board of Public Works (BPW) is soliciting schematic design proposals
for Pulaski Park. During construction of the proposed hotel, the rear section of the park
will be significantly altered. These changes include filling in the slope leading down to
the parking lot, creating emergency vehicle access, and relocating sewer and electric
utilities. This work means that the entire back section of the Park will be either new or
significantly disturbed. The extent of the impact can be judged from the approved site
plan submitted by the hotel, and the associated demolition plan. Both of these documents
will be included on an information disc that will be provided to each group responding to
this Request for Proposals (RFP).
